Entries for the 2012 Ironman 70.3 Ireland will be allocated on a first come, first served basis and payment is required in full at the time of entering. Please ensure that you have read the event information before entering.

Individual Entry Fee: 215 Euros
The entry fee will increas to 235 Euros from 6th April 2012, and to 265 Euros on 2nd July 2012 as late entry fees.
All entries are processed through an online system with payment taken by credit or debit card. You will receive an email confirmation of your place which is guaranteed when we receive payment of the entry fee. The entry fee is subject to an administration charge from Active Network.
Withdrawal Policy
If you are unable to race then you can withdraw at any time by sending an email to ireland70.3@ironman.com confirming that you wish to withdraw from the event. Depending on the date the email is received, the following terms apply
Until May 2nd, 2012: 50% refund
Until July 2nd, 2012: 25% refund
After July 2nd, 2012: no refunds will be given.
This policy is not dependant on circumstances and is applied in all circumstances.
It is not possible to defer your entry to next year or another athlete.
The Active fee is non-refundable.
Transfer Policy
Newly introduced for 2012 events, athletes will have the opportunity to transfer their race entry to another race, subject to certain conditions and the payment of the administration fee. Please refer to the FAQs for further details.
Other Notes
The event comprises:
Swim: 1.9km open-water swim and a wetsuit is compulsory for this element of the race
You will be provided with a swim cap colour coded for your start which must be worn throughout the swim.
Bike: 90km course on N59 towards Maam Cross and return. You must provide a road-worthy bicycle that complies with the event regulations and a cycling helmet which is worn from collecting the bike in transition to racking it back in transition at the end of the bike leg. The course is relatively flat but technical in places requiring extra care.
Run: 20.1km flat lapped course from Salthill to the Spanish Arch
NB. Cut off times for each discpline are in place for athlete safety and to ensure that the agreement with the authorities over road closures are complied with.
By entering you agree to comply with all race regulations and instructions issued by officials on the day and that failure to do so may result in a penalty or disqualification.
