Run Course

The IRONMAN 70.3 Ireland run course is three laps of a flat route which can produce fast run split times. There is virtually no elevation on the run and it is all on tarmac roads or promenade.

The course starts from transition in Salthill Park and heads east along the promenade, past the finish area, and out to Claddagh Quay. It returns via South Park and continues back along the promenade until turning at Black Rock. After three laps runners will enter the finish funnel at the Seapoint car park area in Salthill. Feed stations are located at Claddagh Hall and Black Rock.
