| Teams |

| The general and event specific rules apply to teams. Additionally: |

| Teams will start along with individual participants in the last wave |
|
| The changeover between swimmer and cyclist, cyclist and runner must take place at the racking point only and is achieved by passing the timing chip to the next person. |
|
| If relay teams attempt to change over at any other point or try to assist each other the team will be disqualified. |

| It is the team member’s responsibility to be waiting at the transition racking point in good time. |
|
| If a team member fails to meet the cut off time specified, the next athlete will be able to start their leg of the race with a new timing chip collected at the bike or run exit. |
|
| Teams are not eligible for qualification to the World Championships. |

| Yellow = Stop and go |
|
| 2 yellow cards means a black card = 4 minutes time penalty |
|
| Black = 4 minutes time penalty in the penalty box |
|
| 1 red card = disqualification |
|
| 2 black cards = disqualification |
|
| 3 cards of any combination = disqualification |
